Donna first started dancing at age 3 in New Zealand, where she was promptly noticed by teachers as a student with much promise. With the endless support of her parents, who adored watching her practice and perform, Donna went on to dance professionally in New Zealand.
Donna had much experience choreographing shows and adjudicating dance competitions in New Zealand, before moving to Melbourne. Upon arrival, Donna taught in a number of dance schools, before establishing multiple schools of her own. Bacchus Marsh Dance Studio, being one of these schools, brought her to the area that she would soon fall in love with and decide to settle in.
Donna’s teaching career has been vastly successful, with her students: being accepted in the Victorian College of the Arts, the Australian Ballet School, dancing professionally both in Australia and overseas, completing dance teaching qualifications and beginning schools of their own.
Donna is a wealth of knowledge in the world of dance, providing the studio with decades of industry experience. Her passion for dance is catching, motivating students in her classes to challenge themselves constantly.
